After having written music and lyrics for two highly acclaimed and sold out Edinburgh Fringe musicals and as frontman of blues outfit The 1945, he’s taken back to the stage this year with a new music-backed spoken word project. With material based around growing up in the city and the ebb and flow of relationships that fall in and out of our lives, his rhythm driven verse and melodic choruses are winning over audiences across the city.
At the beginning of 2019 he performed his piece ‘Circles’ at The Playhouse Theatre in London for Platform Presents’ fundraiser for their ‘Playwrights Prize’ alongside James Massiah, Tobias Menzies, Juliet Stevenson, Denise Gough, John Standing, Dougray Scott, Jaime Winstone, Jade Anouka and many more.
