What is the experience of Black feminism?

In the third week of Sensuous Knowledge: A Black Feminist Course for Everyone, Minna Salami provides an analogy for experiencing black feminism. "It is from that lived experience that Black feminist thought emerges. And the very core of Black feminism is to say that there are a multitude of experiences. A multitude of ways of being Black, or being a woman. Clearly—because we see that our experiences are not reflected."
