AI is just the next form of something that has always been present

"I want us all to understand that AI is just the next form of something that has always been present in our lives. We're living meaningless lives, and we're on a treadmill that we don't acknowledge. And why can't we wake up from that? It's because we can't see how to get out of that. Listen, we're already in this situation. So when we say, down the line, artificial intelligence is going to do this to us—I want us to wake up to what we've already done, to what we're already doing, and how we already don't own our own lives."
