Our Indigenous Roots: Revitalising the Sacred & Thriving Life
Shifting Consciousness Talk with Pat McCabe
Unplug and reconnect with your most beauty-full, brilliant, balanced, and joyful self.
Friday 15th March to Sunday 17th March, 2019 The Quadrangle, Shoreham Place, Shoreham, TN14 7RX
Held in collaboration with wisdom keeper Pat McCabe (Woman Stands Shining, Diné/Navajo), this immersion into Ways of Being brings shared ancestral knowledge and practice to the enchanted space of The Quadrangle.
Over the weekend Pat will speak about the revitalisation of the Sacred Masculine and Sacred Feminine within the Science of Right Relations - an indigenous framework of Thriving Life. Together we will remember the “Hoop of Life” and our place within Creation to restore the balance and rediscover our sense of belonging. Within this framework Pat will touch upon the sacred gift of consent both in relationships pertaining to sexuality and in the wider societal context.
A deep immersion and gathering designed to nourish our relationship with our selves, with each other, and with the Earth, and a hands-on, real-life exploration of what it means to live and walk in harmony, balance, and beauty. This experience is for people who are committed to using the teachings and practices shared in service of the Earth and humanity at this critical time.
Schedule:#
This immersion will take place from Friday 15th to Sunday 17th March 2019. Please arrive on Friday in time for dinner by 7pm (we will be there to welcome you from 5pm), and we will finish on Sunday by 4pm.
Each day will include a variety of practices, workshops, discussion and enquiry, both as a group and individually, indoors and outside in nature. Please contact us for a detailed schedule of the weekend.
Food:#
Delicious home cooked vegan/vegetarian meals will be provided (with organic and locally sourced produce wherever possible), as well as snacks, tea and coffee and some wine with dinner. Please be sure to let us know if you have any allergies or special dietary requirements.
The Quadrangle: Venue & Accommodation:#
The Quadrangle Trust is a large Victorian model farmstead built in 1870 that is now used as an education, workshops and arts space. It is close to Shoreham, Otford and Sevenoaks train stations in Kent and just 45 minutes from central London. See http://thequadrangletrust.com/location/ for travel info.
Accommodation is provided on site, including in a very comfortable dormitory, optional outdoor sleeping (weather dependent!), and a few private rooms are available on request. All the rooms can be seen here.
Contribution:#
We are asking for a contribution based on individual means. The offering covers all the costs of the weekend: food, drink, accommodation, workshop and running costs. We are a not-for-profit enterprise but would like to make this experience accessible to as many people who have a calling to join us. Please offer what you can, and if payment is a barrier to participation don’t hesitate to get in touch to discuss.
